I am Chelsea, one of the Om Mamas in charge here.  I am a Mom, a Wife, a Doula, a wanna be vegan cook, and a business owner.

After we both had three babies in a very short amount of time, Korrin and I decided we needed this blog, for our own sanity really.  We wanted one place where we could put helpful information along with funny anecdotes, great recipes and a little piece of ourselves.

I currently have three kids under three and I am a twin mom.  Navigating that world has been one of the most challenging things I have ever done.   In 17 months my husband and I went from just the two of us to a family of 5.  This has brought along challenges I never knew even existed and I truly want to share my journey to a new normal.

As a business woman I currently own and I am the managing partner of Sun Dreams Productions.  An International Entertainment Agency.  We book entertainment and artists for everything from small birthday parties to large corporations like Nordstrom, UGG Australia and PNC Bank.

I am a birth doula and placenta encapsulator in New Jersey and own Om Mamas Doulas in the New Jersey/Philadelphia area.  It is what I was always meant to do and I love every second of my “work.”

As a wife, I am my husbands biggest fan.  He is an Internationally acclaimed and touring artist – www.JayAlders.com.  His talent and passion blows me away daily and being a fly on the wall in his adventure towards making art his career has been a true honor.

So, this is me!  Thanks for being here, I hope you will stay for a while!

Hi, my name is Korrin. I’m the other half of Om Mamas. I’m a wife, mama of four, sister, plant-based chef, holistic health coach, Vedic meditator and co-owner of an organic produce delivery service. I believe that most questions can be answered with a little silence and that the cure to all things that ail us is simplicity.

I went to an amazing culinary school in Manhattan called The Natural Gourmet Institute. I learned about the healing power of food while learning to make soul satisfying plant based dishes. It changed my life forever. I took that knowledge to LA where I had the pleasure of being a private chef for many interesting people. After listening to too much Jack Johnson, I hopped over to Maui where I cooked for yoga and meditation retreats and lived at a Tibetan Buddhist Center. I had the honor of cooking dinner for Ram Das every night. It was the perfect mix of my love of healthy food with a brilliant dose of spirit. After my first child, I found that cooking and caring for my family became a full-time job. I took a step back from private chef work but decided to continue my education through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I received certification as a health coach. I look forward to making a plant based lifestyle for you and your family easy, fun and accesible.
